Steps for Completing Admission
1. Talk to an advisor
FDU offers individual enrollment advisors, who are responsible for supporting you as you go through your application process. They’ll help you find the program that’s right for you, and ensure you have all the information you need to successfully apply.
2. Apply
Depending on your program and level of study, there are several items you’ll have to gather to ensure that your application is complete. All of our programs have rolling admission deadlines, so any time is the right time to apply.
Undergraduate programs require:
- Undergraduate application form
- Official transcripts
Individual programs may require additional materials, such as:
- Licensure in a relevant field of study
- Having graduated from an accredited school
All graduate programs require:
- Graduate application form
- Official transcripts
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
- 3.0 GPA*
*not all programs require a 3.0 GPA
Individual programs may require additional materials, such as:
- GRE/GMAT test scores
- Letters of recommendation
- Personal essays
- Resumes
- Certain licensures within the relevant field of study
3. Next Steps
Congratulations! You’ve been accepted into FDU. To ensure your transition into your degree program begins smoothly, make sure you:
- Transfer any credits that might help you toward completing your degree
- Pay all fees required to begin your program
- Fill out your financial aid forms
- Set up your FDU email account
- Identify how many classes you want to take in your first semester
- Enroll in your courses of choice
- Obtain the educational materials you need to start class
